I was supposed to be painting the Jefferson Memorial and I got side tracked. It was a long day at the real job yesterday and I did not feel like working on a painting with so many straight lines! Painting a rooster was much more fun. So, here is The Rooster III, available for purchase in my Etsy.com store and in my EBSQart.com gallery.
The girls are making me cook tonight! Well, after that, maybe I'll paint!

Wow another regal rooster. Love the lines of his should [ do roosters have shoulders?] and the back of his neck. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand rooster, Torrie! I love this painting.
ReplyDeleteSheila,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog. I got so carried away with painting the feathers! I think I made him to fat!

Bonnie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Your website is fascinating. My daughter has recently taken up crochet. I love painting Roosters and other birds~ I think it is just playing with the flowing paint and calling it feathers that I like.

This is a cool rooster. I have always like rooster paintings and the sound of them in the mornings.
ReplyDeleteHe is not too fat. Just proud and puffed up to impress the ladies.
