Day 4~  Thirty paintings in thirty days in September  ~30 Paintings in 30 Days with Leslie Saeta.  

Continuing with the Sunflowers.  I am working at painting more loosely. This went a bit crazy,  but I love how the wild brush strokes on the dark canvas turned out.  I had purchased several small black canvas and I think this was a really great start to the sunflower painting. 

Sunflowers II was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a museum quality gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for hanging without a frame. Painting can also be placed on a small easel for display.

This painting has sold.

The next sunflower painting is larger and is a complete arrangement in a vase.  I don't think it will be finished by Day 5, but we will see!

I don't paint sunflowers very often.  I saw a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers at the market and decided it was time!  Look for several paintings of the flower throughout the month~
