Up Next~

Yes, I disappeared for just a while. I have been playing with my granddaughter who is just almost a year old. This year has flown by so fast, I don't know where it went. Miss Audrey has gone back home, so now it is time to get back to work.
I am starting out painting a few pear paintings, they are my comfort zone and helps me get back into the swing of things. Since our last visit, I have promised three paintings to the American Heart Association for upcoming Heart Balls in Cleveland County and Charlotte. This will be my first year to participate in the Charlotte Ball. These painting will be large 18" x 24" and I will be working on them in between the smaller paintings that I see online. I will post pictures as I complete each one so you can see what will be in the upcoming auctions.
Well, I am off to paint a new pear painting. Check back again soon,
Torrie

This is the second year I have participated in the event. I am planning to continue working with the Heart Association and their Annual Heart Ball in the coming years.

I have finished with this group of commissioned paintings that were to be completed before Christmas. The customers have been so nice and patient waiting on me to get back to work. I have a few more to get finished.
Up next:
I am painting Monet's Lily Pond at Giverny. I have a customer who has bought two of my lily pond paintings and has commissioned a third to go with the grouping. I will be painting the lily pond and including Monet's green boat that he featured in his paintings. This should be a fun commission to do.
Last but not least, I will be finishing up paintings that have been promised to the American Heart Association for the upcoming gala and auction.
It is nice to be back to painting on a regular basis.

American Heart Association Donation

On Point

Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Field of Poppies V
18" x 24"
Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

I had contacted the American Heart Association and offered to donate two original paintings of their choice painted especially for The 11th Annual Cleveland County Heart Gala, March 21, 2009. Then I was called away to Texas.

Well, it is last minute, but I was able to complete the paintings they selected to be auctioned for charity at the Gala this Saturday. I will be delivering them to the Cleveland County Country Club Friday.

Thank you Susan Fisher for your kindness and patience,

Torrie
