Day Fourteen of the 30 in 30 ~ Gold September Pear is my #9

Day Fourteen of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days in September with Leslie Saeta and this is painting #9.  I knew it would be tough, but I am still in the game.  I had the pleasure of painting with Susan Vaughn Sunday.  I painted this pear painting and she worked on a large painting with soft pastels.  It was so much fun, but we did talk more than we painted.  We will be doing it again on Saturday.  I can't wait!

I am painting tulips and will finish it tomorrow, but might not be able to get a good picture of it~

Commissioned Work

I don't often accept commissions, but when I was asked to do a large pear I couldn't say no.  I am so happy with the way this one turned out.  Kevin is now saying we need a really large pear painting over the fireplace......

Faye's Pears is drying now and will soon be on its way to Tennessee.

Pear VI ~ Small commissioned painting~

Pear VI
6" x 6"
Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
~Sold~

I have just finished yet another commissioned pear painting. I did not start out to be a pear painter, but it seems I paint more pears than anything else. Luckily, I enjoy painting them and there have been so many variations of pears.

I am almost finished with the commissioned poppy landscape painting (18" x 24"), then I will be finishing up the show pieces getting ready for the Cleveland County Arts Council Mystery Art Show and Sale at the end of the month.

Tonight, it is those last minute details to the income tax return, then I will let the IRS know "the check is in the mail"~

Have a wonderful week!

Little Gold Pear ~ New Pear Painting!

Little Gold Pear
5" x 7"
Oil on Canvas Panel
~Sold~

I know I paint a lot of pears, but I really like how this one turned out. I am taking short breaks between the commissions and painting whatever comes into my head for the day. Today, it was a small golden pear, loosely painted. This painting is available for purchase in my online EBSQart gallery and in my Etsy.com store.

Tomorrow, off to Lowes....painting a huge project....the bathroom!

Thanks so much for stopping by,
