Lemon ~

Lemon

6" x 6"

Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
~Sold~

This is my latest painting for the challenge painting group at www.rookiepainter.blogspot.com.

I love painting lemons and I jumped at the chance to participate in the challenge.

Lemon was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped museum quality canvas with painted sides to allow for hanging without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.

This painting has sold. To see other paintings currently available for purchase, please visit my website gallery or my Etsy.com store.

This has been a very busy week~ Not much painting was done. Hopefully, the children are all settled, everyone is getting into a routine. We still have to buy a bed and a sofa for Taylor's new apartment. But, there is always time for shopping~

Since I have not painted, my head is filling up with paintings that need to be on canvas before I forget them. New ballerina paintings, lily pond paintings, and a pineapple painting are on the list of things to do.

I did catch a painting sale at Michaels, found a new color I absolutely love! This color will definitely be in the new pineapple painting.

Well, I am off to get some paintings started.

Thanks for stopping by~

So much to do~ I have sketched out a rooster painting, I have not done a rooster in quite some time. I am in the farm animal mood, so maybe I will do a cow next.

Lately, I have been in the mood to paint with watercolor. I may drag out the watercolor paint and the pastels for a change of pace~

Thank you for visiting,

I have been enjoying participating in the different challenge painting blogs. It takes some of the pressure off of deciding what to paint next. Yes, sometimes you do run out of ideas. I am trying to get time to finish one for www.virtualpaintout.blogspot.com I have been wanting to jump into participating in this one for a while, but just now finding the time.

This is a big weekend around the house, Paige is 23 today and there will be a weekend of fun. Audrey Grace will be here. She is 6-months old today. ~Time does fly. I will try to work in some painting between the fun and pool time.

Have a wonderful weekend,
