The Bird's Nest is a new painting for today. This painting is available for purchase in my EBSQart.com Gallery and in my Etsy.com store.
The hardest part of daily painting for me is deciding what to paint next! I am currently working on some commissioned paintings as well, so maybe before the day is over I will think of something. ~~Maybe a floral still life....
Well, I have to straighten up the house, then to the studio to paint!
Check back tomorrow, there will be something new.

Thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my blog! It's so encouraging to read especially since I don't always feel like the work is fabulous. Lately, I've painted several awful paintings right in a row. In fact, I'm running out of work to post. Hopefully, that means I'm growing as an artist.
BTW - I really like the painting you posted today! The color combination is very striking.
You know what makes this nest feel like a home? The shimmer of red in the strands that surround the chrystalline eggs.
I love the way your strokes of red stand up (as if!) against the magnificent blue!
