Mom would kill me if I put her picture on my blog, so this is a picture I took while walking her dog near her home. Mom is back! She has recovered her ability to speak and has come out of her "postsurgical fog". She has no memory of her time in the ICU since the surgery ~ which is a good thing. She has improved so much, hopefully, today she will be moved out of ICU and back to the surgical floor. My sister will be staying with her until the end of the month.

Thank you all for your prayers, support, and virtual hugs during this very difficult time for our family, it has been very much appreciated.

It is so nice to be back home with my children and Sadie and Stella. There is so much to do to get caught up. I am still reading a backlog of emails. Shipment of paintings that sold in my absence is Wednesday. Keep checking back for updates on new paintings that are long overdue.
