Zippo Lighter
6" x 6"
Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
~Sold~
I am fascinated with the painting challenges and seeing what artists do with the same reference photo and instructions. This was much harder to do than I expected. I am pleased with the way it turned out~
Zippo Lighter was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.

I am finally feeling back to my old self, but I am soooo far behind! I have to finish paintings and get ready for the show in May. I will be concentrating on large pieces for the show, but I will post paintings as I complete them so you can see everything. I am very excited about painting bigger~
Thanks for stopping by~

What a neat work of art! Reminds me of the Zippo my grandpa always carried around when he was alive. Glad to see people focusing on basic everyday items to make inspiring works of art. Great post!
Nice work on this, Torrie! I especially like the reflective, shiny look of the front.
