Cherries Series Two - "Art of the Day"

Cherries Series Two
Watercolor on Paper
2007

Oh so long ago!

Thank you EBSQart.com for selecting Cherries Series Two as "Art of the Day" today.  I painted this in 2007; one of a group of watercolor paintings I did that year.  I have not painted much in watercolor lately..... I might have to add that to my list of things to do.

Speaking of things to do~  It is that time again.  Leslie Saeta is doing the 30 in 30 Challenge in September.  Thirty paintings in Thirty days.  I have signed up and will be doing my best to keep up.  The paintings will be posted here daily and at her daily blog "Slices of Life"  She asked us to pick a theme for the month~  I think mine is "Try to Keep UP!!!  I do plan on painting my favorite things~ pears of course!  On the short list to do first~ still life fruit, ballerinas, landscapes, and I may throw in some flowers~

Check back starting tomorrow and see how far I get!

Thank you for stopping by~

Helloooo...Anybody home!

Yes, I'm back!

If it seems I have been gone forever, ~~I have.   This has been the longest time to go without painting since I began painting in 2003!  I have been laying around staring at the ceiling and sleeping way too much!  I am feeling so much better, now just to get used to the medication and I will have it made~

I am still having trouble with inspiration, but I know that will come back.  Hopefully, Spring will arrive soon and the gloomy, long Winter will be over.  This is the first year I am eagerly waiting for the "green" mist to cover everything...the most definite sign that Spring is finally here.

Now, onward and upward!
