New Orange Painting ~ Fresh Orange III

Fresh Orange III
5" x 7"
Acrylic Paint on Ampersand Claybord
~Sold~

I picked up Ampersand Claybord the other day, I have been wanted to try painting on a smoother surface than canvas. I decided to paint the orange composition I have painted before to try it out. I am very pleased with how it turned out.

Fresh Orange III was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a museum quality Ampersand Claybord. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.

This painting has sold.

I have another painting started using the claybord. It is a pomegranate on a plate. It should be finished and posted in the next few days.

Thanks for stopping by~

Fresh Orange II ~ New Painting.

Fresh Orange II
5" x 7"
Oil on Canvas Panel
~Sold~

I originally painted this composition in 2008. It is hard to believe it has been two years! It seems like yesterday. I loved painting it then and it was just as fun the second time around.

Fresh Orange II was painted using professional artist grade oil paint on a small canvas panel. Painting can be framed or placed on a small display easel. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.

I am busy finishing the lily pond paintings. I started painting two different compositions, now it is going to be three. I am going to do a rendition of one of Monets' paintings of a woman in a boat in the pond at Giverny. Hopefully, they will all be finished by the end of the week.

Next up, the ballerina paintings are going to be finished and I am beginning a large pear painting (16" x 20").

Thanks for stopping by and check back again soon.
