I have been battling allergies for weeks!  I have tried everything and Claritin seems to be working the best.  So glad when this is over.  Not feeling well zaps your creative energy.  I am still working on the rooster painting, I am painting what strikes the creative urge until I feel better.

Thanks for stopping by~

Orange Bell Pepper by Torrie Smiley

Orange Bell Pepper
6" x 6"
Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
~Sold~

I have been painting like crazy trying to get ready for the upcoming show. In between the large paintings for the show, I have been creating a few smaller paintings for the online stores. Kevin was cooking the other day with the most beautiful bell peppers. I grabbed this one and took a few reference photos before we ate it..... I am very pleased with the way this little painting turned out.

Orange Bell Pepper was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.

This painting has sold.

Now, back to painting!

Happy Easter Weekend! ~

Avocado and Pepper
5" x 7"
Oil on Canvas Panel
~~Sold~~

New painting available today. Avocado and Pepper is currently available for purchase in my online EBSQart.com gallery and in my Etsy.com store.

Happy Easter weekend~ It would be nice to spend it with the family, but they are all doing their own thing. So, I guess I will be painting.

I have a large red pear (16" x 20") that is almost completed. I will also be working on a new poppy landscape commissioned painting. There are so many paintings that are in the beginning stages. I am very excited about upcoming new Tar Heel paintings. I had a wonderful time during March Madness.....I can't wait until next year!.

Have a wonderful day~ I am off to the studio to paint!
