Finally! A new painting added to the stores. It is nice to get back to work! Once again, I have used the Ampersand Claybord. I really do like painting on this surface. This small painting can be slipped into a frame or place on a small display easel.

Pomegranates Sliced was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a museum quality Ampersand Claybord. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.

Almost finished with the newest version of "Old Red Boat". There are so many paintings currently in progress in the studio, there are too many to list! Among the soon to be finished are: Old Red Boat, a new ballerina painting, a new large pear painting, and a new floral painting.

Now, the rain has passed, time to clean out the flower beds.....then back to painting.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! The girls are home and I am loving every minute of it! Tonight is old movie night and tomorrow is shopping!

This is the second pomegranate painting this weekend....I was on a roll. I have had fun with the deep red color. This painting is currently available for purchase at my Etsy.com store and my EBSQart.com gallery.

I will be watching the pretty dresses on the Golden Globes and cleaning house tonight....having company tomorrow. Then, more painting!

I will have to finish my challenge painting of the Jefferson Memorial for the "Different Strokes from Different Folks" painting blog/challenge. Then on to something new. I had so much fun working with end of year portrait challenge, I think I might paint more people!

Well, better rush off, Stella and Sadie are ready for their evening stroll.

I just finished the new pomegranate painting. Courtney Grace is hooked on pomegranate. Pomegranate lotion, shower gel, chapstick, chewing gum......she left pomegranate juice in my refrigerator when she went back to school......Pomegranate martinis for me!
